Today, everyone is busy in their
work. Today's world became more competitive. Everyone is running behind money.
People have no time to for others. They are so massed up in their own life that
they even forget to see what others are doing. Today's situation of the world
is so competitive that people do not have time for their own. Everyone is busy
in earning money and the condition of earning money is same for all. Today, the
world came at a point where rich became richer and poor became poorer. When
rich is fulfilling his desires and it became difficult for the poor to even
earn one time of food. In this condition the important question raise is who
going to take care of these poor? But, before that it is important to know that
who is poor?
Who are poor people?
Poor people are those people who are
not able to get even to times meal a day. To identified whether a person is
poor or not government has set a scale internationally and according to that
scale a person who is not willing to earn Rs 122.78 in a day is poor. And
statics reveals that 22% of the Indian population is poor. That clearly means
that 22%of the Indian population was not willing to have two times meal a day.
Only meals are not enough but at there are other basic requirements which a person
is needed to have. Poverty is himself cause of lots of problems. Like poor
people are always busy in managing two times meal and were even unable to think
about the other aspect of their life. Education became their secondary concern.

What we can do to manage the condition of the poor?
It is quite a difficult task to
change the entire scenario but still when hope and deeds combine together then
nothing is impossible for anyone. Even though government is organizing lots of
programs for the settlement and uplift the status of the poor but still it is
important for us to take a step forward being a member of the society.
Muskan is an Ngo who has been
helping the poor from more than a decade. We are helping the nation through our
various projects. We are helping poor people through our various programs. Our
programs include providing food to the street people, then we had facility of
open school where our volunteers went to the places where these people live and
we teach them in their places only, we had a facility where we are teaching
those parents who are working as a laborers and might time we are providing
them teaching. Beside this we are also running some skill development programs
for those kids who are unable to get education and even though they are getting
education but still they are not cable to do some skill course, we also had our
mobile wan through which we are providing medical facilities to the kids. As a
part of our projects we are also supplying blankets, clothing and other
necessary stuffs time to time. A part from this Muskan is one of its own kind
of Ngo who has a food web where along with the help our volunteers we collect
the food from the ceremonies and parties and distribute them among the poor
people.
